New Delhi:
In alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a developed India by 2047, the CSR Research Foundation organized a seminar on ‘One Country, One Election’ at Hotel Radisson Blu, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. The event saw prominent speakers emphasize that simultaneous elections are essential for India’s progress, identifying frequent elections as a major hindrance to development. The program also included a heartfelt tribute to CA Neeraj Udhwani and others who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack.

In the inaugural address, Chief Guest and BJP National General Secretary Sunil Bansal stressed that “change is the need of the hour,” highlighting how elections held annually between 1995 and 2025 have drained financial and human resources, paralyzed administrative functions for months, and delayed development projects. Vishnu Mittal, General Secretary of Delhi Pradesh, stated that just as Article 370 was abolished under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, ‘One Country, One Election’ will soon become a reality, leading to economic growth and a stronger stock market.

In the concluding session, NAFED Director Ashok Thakur reiterated that ‘One Country, One Election’ would benefit politicians, citizens, and the nation alike.
