Bollywood and television star Shefali Jariwala, widely known as the Kaanta Laga girl and a popular Bigg Boss 13 contestant, tragically died in Mumbai on the night of June 27, 2025. After she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at her Andheri residence, her family rushed her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital. Despite their swift action, doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Police action and investigation
Shortly after receiving the alert around one in the morning, the Mumbai police launched their procedures. They sent her body to Cooper Hospital for a post mortem examination. Furthermore, a police team along with forensic experts visited the residence to carry out detailed investigations.
