At the International Cultural Festival organized by the Vishwa Hindi Parishad at Triveni Kala Sangam, Mandi House, New Delhi, young artists from India and abroad made the event memorable with their excellent performances. Among them, the performance of Trisha Vardhan, a renowned Bharatanatyam dancer and Hindustani classical singer from California, USA, was a special attraction. The audience gave her a standing ovation for her graceful movements and expressive artistry.

The cultural evening was organized to strengthen India–US relations through culture. This bond is being further enriched through Bharatanatyam. Trisha Vardhan, an NRI student living in California, is learning both Bharatanatyam and classical singing. She captivated the audience with her Bharatanatyam performance and will also enthrall them with a rendition of a devotional song.

Dr. Vipin Kumar, General Secretary of the Vishwa Hindi Parishad, said that the organization is working continuously at the global level to promote Indian culture. As part of this initiative, the International Cultural Festival 2025 was organized, where Trisha Vardhan presented Bharatanatyam along with singing.

Trisha is a talented 10-year-old student with a deep passion for Indian classical arts. She has been learning Bharatanatyam and classical music for five years. Her gurus are Mrs. Lavanya Gopal, Mrs. Swasti Pandey, Mrs. Shubha Chaki, and Mr. Nachiket Yakkudi, under whose guidance her talent continues to flourish.

At the age of nine, Trisha gave heartfelt performances at two old-age homes in Mumbai: Narmada Niketan and Param Shanti Dham Trust. During Diwali 2024, she mesmerized audiences in Mumbai with her music and dance. On December 2, 2025, she performed a spectacular program at the Anandam Trust Old Age Home in Chennai. Trisha has won numerous singing and dancing competitions and has been praised for her hard work, talent, and stage confidence. Her love for Indian culture and dedication to learning truly make her special.

The International Cultural Festival 2025 was attended by Member of Parliament Sangeeta Balwant as the chief guest, and senior RSS pracharak Ravi Iyer as the special guest. Congratulating Trisha, Ms. Balwant said that such brilliance in singing and dancing at such a young age is rare, and that Trisha is undoubtedly a star of the future.

At the end of the program, Trisha, along with her 4-year-old sister, Nayra Vardhan, amazed the audience with their performance of “Shyamali Meenakshi.” Nayra’s performance clearly showed that both sisters are on a promising path in classical singing. The program included a variety of cultural performances, felicitation ceremonies, and inspirational speeches on Indian language and culture. The event aimed to encourage young talent and to firmly establish the prestige of Indian art and culture on the world stage.

All guests expressed their gratitude to the organizers and described the festival as a symbol of cultural unity and Indianness. It is noteworthy that the Vishwa Hindi Parishad continues to play an important role in promoting Indian art, culture, and language at the global level.
