New Delhi. Renowned author Dr. Kusum Lunia visited the official residence of the Union Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, and National Convener of the Anuvrat Parliamentary Forum, Arjun Ram Meghwal, on his birthday at his residence on K Kamaraj Road in New Delhi, and presented him with a copy of her self-authored book, The Best Lifestyle. Dr. Dhanpat Lunia, an active and leading worker of the Anuvrat movement, was also present on this occasion.
Appreciating this 351-page research book, published by Jain Vishwa Bharati Institute, Ladnun, and launched in the auspicious presence of Anuvrat Acharya Mahashraman, Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said that the new generation should draw inspiration from this excellent and highly useful book on lifestyle. He said that the Shraman culture is a rich tradition of Indian philosophy, in which Jain philosophy has made a special contribution. Lord Mahavira gave the message of human evaluation based on karma and qualities, which Acharya Tulsi furthered through the Anuvrat movement. Union Minister Meghwal congratulated the author Lunia on this significant achievement.
On this occasion, Dr. Kusum Lunia explained that in her book The Best Lifestyle, she has presented a research-based and useful analysis of the Jain Shraman and Shramanopasaka way of life. This work strongly highlights life values based on knowledge, philosophy, character, penance, and self-control. Sharing her life experiences associated with Anuvrat, she described the book as extremely useful for researchers, inquisitive minds, and scholars.
