The centenary conference was presided over by Comrade Samar Bhandari. CPI (ML) State Secretary Comrade Indresh Maikhuri attended as a key invited speaker. Comrade Karnail Singh Randhawa delivered the main address, while CPI State Co-Secretary Comrade Ravindra Jaggi was also present on the dais.

While conducting the proceedings, State Secretary Comrade Jagdish Kuliyal extended heartfelt greetings to all party members and the people of the state and the country on the completion of 100 glorious years of struggle, sacrifice, and dedication of the CPI. Recalling the Party’s historic founding at the three-day Kanpur Conference in 1925, he called for intensifying the struggle against rising fascist and communal forces and strengthening Left unity.

Congratulating the CPI on its centenary, CPI (ML) State Secretary Comrade Indresh Maikhuri said that the hundred-year legacy of the communist movement must be taken afresh to the masses. He emphasized that all forces under the red flag must unite and fight for the people from the streets to the legislatures.

AITUC State President Comrade M.C. Tyagi, while extending greetings, said that at a time when violence and hatred are being spread in society, there is a pressing need to firmly resist such forces. He stressed that all Left forces must unite and advance this struggle through mass movements.

Chairman of the Party Control Commission Comrade N.S. Negi stated that despite tall claims by many political parties today, the Communist Party, through its century-long struggles and sacrifices, has played a historic role—from the freedom movement to the framing of key reformative laws in independent India. He underlined the need for organized efforts to further strengthen the Party.

Comrade Chitra Gupta, in her address, said that the communist movement has not ended and that this historic legacy must be carried forward to the new generation and the youth. She described the Party not merely as an organization, but as a family.

Main speaker Comrade Karnail Singh Randhawa elaborated on the Party’s journey from its formation to the present day, citing key historical events and facts, and called upon comrades to further strengthen the CPI.

In his presidential address, Comrade Samar Bhandari congratulated the Party on its centenary and recalled its glorious heritage and founding objectives. Referring to thousands of struggles and movements led by the communist movement, he remarked that only those who struggle commit mistakes. Criticising the policies of the Sangh Parivar, he highlighted the historic role of the communist movement and emphasized the need to make the Party even stronger.
