Less than an hour after the event, local MLA Sunil Tingre received a call from the teen’s father and went to the police station where he was brought. Tingre claimed that this was not intended to put pressure on the police.

As the death of two youths in the Pune Porsche accident garners national attention, questions are emerging regarding whether attempts were made to shield the accused. These include an MLA who arrived at the police station past three in the morning, a blood alcohol test performed more than eight hours later, and allegations of leniency by the Juvenile Justice Board.

Engineers Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwani Koshta, who worked in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar neighbourhood, were murdered on Sunday at approximately 2:30 in the morning after their motorbike was struck by a speeding Porsche that was reportedly being driven by a 17-year-old. The accused’s father is a well-known Pune realtor.

While the accident occurred about 2.30 a.m. and the adolescent was apprehended by the crowd promptly, the police performed the blood sample test at 11 a.m., more than eight hours later.

Amitesh Kumar, the commissioner of Pune Police, stated, “The police team was busy handling the situation and the crowd after the accident.” However, it is true that the blood sample test was delayed. The sample was taken at roughly 11 a.m. after the youngster was brought to Sassoon Hospital at around 9 a.m. We’re investigating the cause of the hold-up.
