An IAS training institution in historic Rajender Nagar flooded its basement on Saturday, killing three pupils. It has been claimed that more pupils are trapped in the basement, despite pumps pumping water out. According to police sources, there is an ongoing hunt for three pupils who are missing. Although a FIR was filed regarding the occurrence, three bodies have been found.

The IAS Study Circle basement of Rau was inundated, according to images captured from the site. On Saturday night at 7:19 p.m., fire department personnel got a report regarding kids who were trapped in the basement. Five fire engines were sent to conduct rescue efforts. At the location as well are teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).

An emergency response has been launched at the Old Rajender Nagar coaching facility following the filling of the basement with water. The Delhi Fire Department said in a statement that “many students are feared trapped.”

“At seven o’clock at night, we got word that a USPC coaching institute in Rajender Nagar had flooded, and there might be some people trapped inside,” stated DCP Central M. Harshavardhan. Due to the severe rains this evening, there was waterlogging on the road. Our team is now looking into the cause of the basement’s flooding. The basement appeared to have flooded quickly, trapping several individuals within. The NDRF response teams and the Delhi Fire Service are in attendance. There are now searches and rescues going on. One female student’s corpse has been found thus far.

“Whoever is responsible for the incident will not be spared,” said Delhi Water Minister Atishi.

There have been reports of an evening accident in Delhi brought on by a lot of rain. There are reports of water seeping into the Rajendra Nagar tutoring center’s basement. The NDRF and Delhi Fire Department are there. There is also the local MLA and the mayor of Delhi. I am receiving minute-by-minute updates about the event. A magistrate’s investigation into the event must be launched immediately, and Delhi Minister Atishi has instructed the Chief Secretary to provide a report on it within a day.
