Washington: During Tuesday’s presidential debate, 67 million Americans tuned in as Donald Trump faced off with Kamala Harris. However, MAGA conspiracy theorists are now claiming Harris’s victory was assisted by high-tech earrings with Bluetooth capabilities.
Stung by Harris’s verbal blows that left Trump reeling, die-hard MAGA supporters are speculating she received coaching through Nova H1 earbuds disguised as earrings. In the realm of conspiracy theories, this rumor is being tossed aside, much like the wild claim that Trump faked an assassination attempt—his ear showing no signs of injury.
Even among Trump’s most loyal followers, there’s a growing sense of resignation that their overconfident, unprepared, and blustering candidate lost the debate. Despite this, Trump continues to insist otherwise. “I think it was the best debate I’ve had… She wants another one because she lost tonight… The polls say we got 90%, 60%, 72%, 71%, and 89%,” Trump declared, spouting off random figures while dodging questions about their validity.
Meanwhile, disheartened Trump supporters found a brief moment of amusement when President Biden jokingly wore a MAGA hat during an exchange with a Trump supporter on Wednesday, which they interpreted as a show of support for the former president.
In reality, the Trump campaign appears to be unraveling post-debate. Pop star Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Harris garnered over 9 million “likes” on Instagram, and music icon Linda Ronstadt took Trump to task, calling him a rapist and voicing her support for Harris ahead of a MAGA rally in her hometown.
“It saddens me to see the former president bring his hate-filled show to Tucson, a town with strong Mexican American roots and a spirit of joy and tolerance,” Ronstadt wrote. She condemned Trump’s “toxic politics, hatred of women, immigrants, and people of color, as well as his criminality, dishonesty, and ignorance.”
A single mother of two adopted children, Ronstadt now lives in Tucson with her cat. “Am I half a childless cat lady because I didn’t give birth to my kids? Call me what you want, but this cat lady will proudly vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in November,” she wrote.
She also referenced Trump’s infamous comments from his first campaign, where he warned about rapists coming from Mexico. “I’m more concerned about keeping the rapist out of the White House,” she concluded in a blistering takedown.
Even prominent Republicans are starting to concede Trump’s shortcomings. Karl Rove, former advisor to George W. Bush, wrote in a Wall Street Journal op-ed: “There’s no sugar-coating it—Trump was crushed by a woman he once called ‘dumb as a rock.’ So what does that make him?”
Even Fox News, typically a Trump stronghold, admitted he was outmatched in the debate. This left the former president to lash out, tweeting, “Neil Cavuto, Fox’s Lowest Rated Anchor, is one of the WORST on Television. I actually prefer the losers at CNN and MSDNC!”
Comedians also had a field day with Trump’s poor performance. “Harris got under his skin like she was rubbing in butter and rosemary. By the end of the debate, the meat was falling off the bone,” joked Stephen Colbert.
