In Malviya Nagar in south Delhi, a 41-year-old man was reported to have fallen off a building on Sunday and died as a result, according to police.
They said that the incident happened in Malviya Nagar’s Nil Block.

When Sheikh Shah Alam of Bihar’s Katihar purportedly fell to his death, plaster work was being done at the structure, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Chandan Chowdhary.

He added that the body had been moved to a mortuary and that no safety equipment had been discovered on the man’s body or in the structure.

Builder Harish has been arrested, and a case has been filed under sections 304A (causing death by carelessness) and 288 (negligent behaviour with respect to tearing down or rebuilding buildings), according to the DCP.

According to the representative, Harish is constructing the structure as part of a partnership with landowner PK Pandey. For the construction, the builder had secured MCD approval.
