68 Students From Maoist-Hit Dantewada Cracks NEET, JEE

68 students from the Chhattisgarh district of Dantewada, which has been severely impacted by the insurgency, have passed both the 2023 NEET and JEE exams.According to Dantewada Collector Vinit Nandanwar, the district administration offers free education to children and requires pupils in grades 9 through 12 to prepare for competitive exams with the help of professionals.

At the event, Dantewada Collector Vinit Nandanwar said, “Chhoo Lo Aasmaan, an outfit operating in the district, is operational at village Balud and Karli, he added, adding that this is a significant accomplishment as 65 students here have qualified for NEET and JEE.

The district collector Nandanwar added that kids are instructed on preparation and question-solving techniques.A dropout batch was formed since it was felt that everyone deserved a second shot, he said, and several pupils were chosen from it.

According to District Education Officer (DEO) Pramod Thakur, two coaching institutions are conducted in Dantewada with assistance from the district administration. The centre for boys is located in the hamlet of Balud, and the centre for girls is located in the village of Karli.

According to Mr. Thakur, subject experts are also present for the preparation of NEET and JEE in addition to the hiring of teachers to complete the curriculum.

JEE qualifier Suresh Kumar stated that after earning a CS degree from IIT and working with people, he plans to enter politics.
