In an interview with The Free Press Journal, Taha Shah Badussha discussed working on the sets of the renowned Indian director.

“When I first stepped into the sets, I felt eternally grateful. I was captivated by the scale and magnitude that SLB had created. I’ve never been on a set like this. To see it in person and be a part of it is nothing short of a blessing. “I was told to shoot for 45-50 days, but I was on set for 110 days,” Taha explained.

“I was nervous but excited when my sequences began. I was experiencing a variety of feelings at the same time. It was not tough for me to perform because I had the necessary schooling. I understand filmmakers and their work. SLB has a distinct style of directing. His vision is bigger than life. I would’ve been

a one-day job in his production because so many actors have died to work with him,” he said.

Taha had stated after the release of the ‘Heeramandi’ trailer that he had been cast for a three-day role that was later extended. He also added that working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is like a dream come true for him.
