LOSD’s Grand Celebration of Achievements at LORDS

This awards ceremony is an initiative to acknowledge and honor the valuable contributions of individuals and organizations under the Social, education, and Sports category. Chandrakant Koticha will grace the occasion with his presence and will be honored.

Chandrakant Koticha, a renowned humanitarian and philanthropist is the Founder and Executive Trustee of two leading non profits Saurashtra Medical & Educational Charitable Trust (1978) and Indian Medical Scientific Research Foundation (1991) engaged in humanitarian services under the activity hub Project ‘Life for over 4 decades.


The charity addresses core challenges in Blood Banking, Thalassaemia Prevention, Primary Education, Health Science Education, Environment Protection, Health & Welbeing , Women Empowerment and networking Non Resident Gujaratis with motherland.
In consideration to Chandrakant’s undeterred mission which has touched over 9.8 million lives. he was honoured by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the ‘Sharedil Award’ and Life Blood Centre received the prestigious ISBT Award for Developing Countries 2020, Amsterdam.
At 78 years, his crusade continues to reach far and wide as Project ‘Life’ keeps expanding its horizons to serve humankind. He is nominated for Outstanding Humanitarian Award in Social category.
