New Delhi INDIA bloc offered the PM Prime Minister post to the Bihar Chief Minister and Janata dal ( United) Chief Nitish Minister after the Lok Sabha elections results were announced, party leader KC Tyagi announced in an exclusive interview. The declaration came amid hypotheses that the INDIA bloc is trying to get Nitish Kumar back into alliance in a bid to stop the NDA from forming the government for a record third party.

Mr Tyagi made it very clear in the media that the JDU has rejected all offers from the opposition party and is planning to work with the NDA for the next five years.

“Nitish Kumar’s speech supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put to rest all rumours doing the rounds. These reports would have stopped when we joined NDA,” Mr Tyagi said.

He also added, “We were hurt by the way Congress and its alliance treated our JDU leader, now they thought to offer the Prime Minister post to him, JDU rejected all such offers,” he added

Nitish Kumar also said that their main aim is the development of Bihar, which he said would help to improve the economic conditions of the state.

Mr Tyagi said, Bihar cannot develop until it’s given a different status, it would be filled with unemployment and poverty if a good education system is not established here.

On Thursday, Nitish Kumar ruled out this possibility, but left a sting in the tail; with both sides locked in talks over ministerial berth allocation. Lalan Singh was elected to the Lok Sabha Elections from Bihar’s Munger, while Ram Nath Thakur is the son of Bharat Ratna awardee Karpoori Thakur.
