Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi’s chief minister and AAP president, declared “Kejriwal ki Guarantee,” specifying ten projects to be undertaken on a war footing if the INDIA coalition wins power in the Lok Sabha elections.
“These guarantees are the vision for the new India, without them a country cannot become powerful,” stated Kejriwal.
Kejriwal’s ten guarantees for the Lok Sabha elections
1. 24-Hour energy Supply: According to Kejriwal, the government would assure continuous energy supply across the country and offer 200 units of free electricity to economically disadvantaged homes.
2. Education Reform: He stated that the government will improve government schools to outperform private institutions in terms of quality, while also providing free education to all children born in the country.
3. Healthcare Improvement: He vowed to open Mohalla clinics in every village and community, as well as improve district hospitals to multi-specialty facilities, to ensure complete healthcare access.
4. National Security: We would give the army complete power to “reclaim land from China” and conduct diplomatic attempts to maintain territorial integrity, he stated.
5. Discontinuation of the Agniveer program: “We will stop the Agniveer scheme and regularize all enrolled children on permanent positions, abolishing the contractual system and ensuring adequate funds for the army,” Kejriwal stated.
6. Farmers’ Welfare: Provide equitable crop compensation in accordance with the Swaminathan report to guarantee farmers may live dignified lives.
7. Delhi Statehood: “Our government will grant full statehood to Delhi, a long-standing demand of its residents,” he stated.
8. Employment Generation: The INDIA bloc administration would create 2 crore new jobs each year to address unemployment issues, according to the AAP president.
9. Corruption Eradication: Kejriwal promises to tackle corruption by removing the “BJP’s protectionist measures” and enforcing accountability for everybody.
10. Trade and Industry Promotion: He vows to simplify GST by eliminating it from PMLA laws and to outperform China in the manufacturing sector.
