MP Woman Stabs Husband’s Employee To Death Suspecting Affair

A woman in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur city was arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband’s employee to death and injuring another woman, reportedly over suspicions of an affair, police said on Friday (Dec 20).

The accused, Shikha Mishra (35), was apprehended on Thursday for the crime, which occurred on Wednesday at Professor Colony, according to Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anand Kaladgi.

The victim, Anika Mishra (33), worked at a construction company owned by Shikha’s husband, Brajesh Mishra. Shikha suspected her husband of being involved with Anika, the ASP said.

On Wednesday, Shikha reportedly contacted Anika and met her at the residence of Sonam Rajak in Professor Colony. A heated argument ensued, during which Shikha allegedly stabbed Anika and injured Sonam, who intervened to stop the attack.

Anika succumbed to her injuries, while Sonam is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

The accused fled the scene but was arrested at Satna railway station the following day, the police official added.
