On CCTV, 2 Dead As Speeding Bike Hits Divider, Bursts Into Flames In Hyderabad

Two individuals, a rider and a pillion passenger, lost their lives in a tragic accident after their motorcycle collided with a divider in Hyderabad’s Madhapur district. The incident occurred on Friday night when the rider, allegedly intoxicated, was speeding along the 100-feet road near Ayyappa Society.

A nearby CCTV camera captured the harrowing crash. The footage shows the motorcycle colliding with the divider and instantly bursting into flames. The impact threw both victims off the bike. One of them succumbed to injuries on the spot, while the other passed away en route to the hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Raghu Babu and Akansh, both software engineers residing in Borabanda district. It remains unclear which of the two was operating the motorcycle at the time of the crash.

Authorities have handed over the victims’ bodies to their families, and an investigation into the accident is currently underway, police officials reported.

Earlier this month, a separate incident in Telangana’s Siddipet district claimed the lives of two police constables in a hit-and-run. The victims, identified as Parandhamulu (43) and Venkateshwarly (42), were on their way to participate in a marathon when a car struck their motorcycle.
