Atishi, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), would also be in charge of planning, budgeting, and revenue in the Delhi cabinet. Before, Kailash Gehlot was present with the three departments.

Following Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain’s resignations in March, Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj were appointed to the cabinet. Jain was detained last year in connection with a money laundering case, while Sisodia was detained in connection with an excise policy matter.

She formerly held the portfolios of politics, public relations, higher education, art, culture, and language, as well as tourism, training, and technical education.

The most recent addition will bring her total holdings under management to 10.

On Thursday, there was a dispute over the cabinet reshuffle problem. Government officials claimed that the Lt Governor’s office held the paperwork pertaining to it for four days, but the latter’s office denied this.
