A lawsuit was filed against actor Allu Arjun after he visited Andhra Pradesh’s Nandyala to support MLA Shilpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy on allegations of breaking the Model Code of Conduct. According to India Today, a charge has also been filed against Reddy, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) MLA.

According to the report, Allu Arjun and Reddy were accused of hosting a huge public gathering on Saturday at the latter’s home. This resulted in a breach of the code of conduct before of the Andhra Pradesh elections. The state will go to the polls on May 13.
According to reports, the MLA invited the actor to the meeting without first seeking permission. The FIR was lodged for allegedly breaching Andhra Pradesh’s Section 144. Deputy Tehsildar P Ramachandra Rao of Nandyala Rural filed the complaint.

After seeing Reddy at his home on Saturday, Allu Arjun explained why he went to Nandyala. According to the article, he stated, “I got here on my own. I will stand up and aid my buddies in whatever area they are in. It does not imply that I am backing or supporting any political party.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala posted a video of the actor being greeted by a sea of admirers in Nandyala. He greeted supporters with folded hands, waved, and grinned. Sneha Reddy was also spotted standing beside him. The actor took to X (previously Twitter) to post a photo with Reddy. He wrote, “I am grateful to the people of Nandyal for their wonderful greeting. Thank you, @SilpaRaviReddy garu, for your hospitality. I wish you the best in the elections and beyond. You have my unfailing love and support.

Reddy had shared a film on X with the caption, “A heartfelt thank you to my friend @alluarjun for travelling all the way to Nandyal to wish me luck in my election.” Your steadfast support means the world to me, and I’m glad for our relationship! #Thaggedele.”
