When will Russia use nuclear weapons in Ukraine war, President Putin openly told the world

Vladimir Putin

Moscow: The possibility of a nuclear war has existed since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war. Russia has threatened to use nuclear weapons on Ukraine several times. The whole world is confused about this. But now Putin has openly told the whole world when and under what circumstances he will use nuclear weapons in the Ukraine war. President Vladimir Putin said that there is no need to use nuclear weapons to win against Ukraine at the moment, but if the western countries helping Ukraine think that Moscow will never do so, then it is their mistake. That is, Russia has not ruled out the possibility of using nuclear weapons in the Ukraine war.

The use of nuclear weapons on Ukraine will largely depend on NATO and the US’s continued support to Ukraine and the use of foreign weapons against Russia. Putin has given this message at a time when North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) allies are taking steps to help the Ukrainian military forces. Putin gave a clear message to these NATO members that providing military assistance to Ukraine could lead to a conflict with Russia, which could turn into a nuclear conflict. Moscow recently conducted exercises in southern Russia with ally Belarus to test its nuclear weapons strategic readiness.

Deployment of NATO troops in Ukraine is being considered

Western countries are considering deploying NATO troops in Ukraine and allowing it to use long-range weapons for limited attacks on Russian territory. If this happens, a nuclear war could break out. Russia described its military exercises as a response to this move by Western countries. Putin launched an attack on Ukraine on 24 February 2022 and since then he has repeatedly referred to Russia’s nuclear power to discourage Western intervention in the war. Putin said amid Russia’s recent military successes that Moscow does not need to use nuclear weapons to win in Ukraine, but “representatives of NATO members, especially small countries in Europe, should know who they are playing with.”

He warned that relying on American security could be their mistake if Russia attacks them. Putin said, “Constant tension can have serious consequences. If these serious consequences occur in Europe, what steps will the US take given our capabilities in terms of strategic weapons? It’s hard to say. Do they want a global conflict? (AP)
