Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa from Kannada was taken into custody on Wednesday in relation to a man’s murder in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Pavithra Gowda, Mr. Thoogudeepa’s girlfriend, has now been arrested as one of the case’s accused.

Who is Pavithra Gowda?

Kannada actress Pavithra Gowda has experience in both television and motion pictures. She has appeared in Agamya, Preethi Kithabu, and Chatrigalu Saar Chatrigalu.

In 2016, she made her Kollywood debut in the film 54321.

As stated in her Instagram bio, she is also a model and an artist.

Currently, Ms. Gowda is pursuing a career in fashion design. She currently runs Red Carpet Studio 777, a boutique where she specializes in designing traditional sarees and clothing.

The Kannada actor’s girlfriend, Ms. Gowda, made headlines on social media earlier this year when she posted a video on Instagram commemorating “ten years of our relationship,” which featured images of the two of them. Vijaya Lakshmi and Mr. Thoogudeepa have been wed for more than 20 years.

At Bengaluru’s Sumanahalli Bridge, the body of 33-year-old Renuka Swamy, a resident of Chitradurga, was discovered.

The deceased allegedly made derogatory remarks on Ms. Gowda’s social media account, accusing her of stoking a rift between Mr. Thoogudeepa and his wife, according to police sources. He harassed her and allegedly used “objectionable language.” The murder is being investigated as a possible result of these interactions.

Thirteen persons have been detained in relation to the case, including Darshan Thoogudeepa and Pavithra Gowda.
