CPJ College of Higher Studies & School of Law, Narela (Affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi) organized orientation programme to welcome LL.M. Students of 2024-25 Batch.
On this occasion Prof. (Dr.) Nuzhat Parveen Khan, Dean-Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi was the chief guest who graced the occasion by her esteemed presence. The programme formally began with National Anthem followed by lighting of auspicious lamp amidst Saraswati Vandana by the chief guest Prof.(Dr.) Nuzhat Parveen Khan along with Dr. Yugank Chaturvedi, Director General, Dr. Amit Jain, Director Corporate Affairs, Dr. Shalini Tyagi, Principal School of Law and other dignitaries.
Dr. Yugank Chaturvedi gave the welcome address and warmly welcomed the new students, parents and the honorable Chief Guest. Thereafter, Dr. Yugank Chaturvedi, Dr. Amit Jain and Dr. Shalini Tyagi felicitated the chief guest with a memento on behalf of CPJ College. During the orientation programme Dr. Chaturvedi interacted with the students and emphasized the importance of hard work, self belief, goal-setting and concentration in a student’s life. Further, highlighting the values of discipline, intellectual curiosity, and determination, he said all these qualities are essential for the students and become important to adopt by them as they stepped into their specialized subject journey of legal education of LL.M.
The Chief Guest Prof.(Dr.) Nuzhat Parveen Khan firstly said that she was very much honored to be invited as the chief guest for today’s orientation programme for LL.M. Students organized by CPJ College. Thereafter, the chief guest complimented new students and said that you are lucky to get admission in this premier college of the city. She further added that Law is a most dignified, noble and lucrative earning profession. LL.M. helps you in gaining in-depth knowledge of law. It also helps you to assiduously study and research your specialized field like ones you chose here in CPJ School of Law that is, Criminal Justice System, Alternative Disputes Resolution and Corporate Law.
The LL.M Degree with specialization in these courses helps you a lot in having a career path chosen by you. If you want to pursue your career in legal education as an academic and research then LL.M course enables you to become an outstanding scholar with mastery of your subject better than the graduates. There are plenty of opportunities for various employment, be it Litigation, Law firms, Government jobs, Banking and Insurance Industry, Corporate, legal administration in public and private sector, foreign services and even cracking judiciary examination conducted by various states and these are avenues to which you are easily approachable on acquiring you LL.M. degree.
Therefore, I once again congratulate you on having been admitted in your chosen college which has its top ranked place in GGSIP University and not only in Delhi & NCR but across India it has acquired its own brand name in imparting values & ethics based professional education. The honorable chief guest motivated and encouraged the students to embark their higher legal educational Journey in their best preferred college. She expressed hope that the vigilant Management, administration and well qualified faculties shall extend their full cooperation towards successfully accomplishment of your one year Journey of LL.M. in the CPJ College of Higher Studies and School of Law.
At the end the Orientation Programme successfully concluded with refreshment and Vote of thanks proposed by Neeraja, Assistant Professor. She expressed deep gratitude to the Chief Guest, distinguished speakers, students and all those who present on the occasion.
