“Arey daro mat, bhaago mat” is how Prime Minister Modi mocks Rahul Gandhi for running from Rae Bareli.

After Rahul Gandhi of the Congress chose to compete for Lok Sabha from Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the Congressman on Friday, claiming that he was rushing from seat to seat out of fear.

Speaking at an election rally in West Bengal’s Bardhaman-Durgapur seat, Prime Minister Modi declared, “I had predicted that Shehzada would lose the Wayanad poll. He will search for another seat to run for in order to avoid losing this one. Leaders of his party were predicting that he will visit Amethi. However, he became so terrified that he fled Amethi and is currently attempting to escape through Rae Bareli. Individuals such as this advise others to “daro mat (don’t be scared)”. I sincerely tell him, “Arey daro mat, bhago mat (don’t be scared and don’t run away)” today as well.

Claiming that this time Congress will win fewer seats than in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi slammed the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal and alleged that Hindus have been made “second-class citizens” in the state.

“Today, a TMC MLA declared that they will relocate Hindus to Bhagirathi. What sort of assertion is this? This is what type of politics? Why are Hindus in Bengal now considered second-class citizens? The building of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the Ram Navami processions in Bengal are issues for the TMC. When the Jai Shri Ram slogan is said, they become ill. Our Dalit sisters endured horrors at Sandeshkhali, yet TMC made an effort to defend the accused. Is it because Shahjahan Sheikh was his name? stated PM Modi.
