Many interesting commercial and social service initiatives have been held at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan during the last ten years. CSR Research Foundation, in partnership with Woods Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. and ITPO, has organized special amenities for women and the elderly during the 43rd International Trade Fair in 2024. Sanitary napkin vending machines have been erected outside the Mela site’s three women’s bathrooms, allowing women to receive free sanitary napkins while avoiding difficulty due to particular needs. In addition, as in previous years, a rest house has been created near Gate No. 10 of Pragati Maidan for the elderly and disabled visitors to the fair, with complimentary tea, coffee, and 6 (six) e-rickshaws available for their convenience.
On this occasion, Mr. Deendayal Agrawal, Chairman of the CSR Research Foundation, stated that Woods Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. is also fully supporting our humanitarian activity. The rationale for our endeavor to provide sanitary napkins to women is to make them feel more confident when they leave their houses; such facilities have shown to be quite beneficial for women during Pragati Maidan fairs.
At the same time, our action is simply a step toward Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji’s vision of ‘Clean India and Healthy India’. In addition, the institution provides a rest house on the Mela grounds. This system works to support the physical capacities of the elderly and disabled persons who visit the fair, while also providing emotional support and recuperation. The public fully supports and cooperates with the organization’s charity activities. The CSR Research Foundation intends to continue serving the public through such unique initiatives in the future.
