The Saai Indian Trust Association (SITA) proudly hosted a grand and heart-touching national event dedicated to celebrating the essence of motherhood through literature and poetry. The occasion marked the release of the national representative poetry collection “Aai – Love, Affection, Compassion”, a tribute to the timeless bond shared between a mother and her child. The event was gracefully led by MatruBhakta Acharya Prof. C.A. Dr. Shankar Ghnashamdas Andani, President of SITA Trust, who has passionately worked to highlight the emotional depth and cultural reverence associated with the word “Aai”—a word that embodies love beyond definition.
The inauguration ceremony also honored 11 Ideal Dutiful Mothers and 11 Ideal Literary Contributors, celebrating women who have exemplified devotion, responsibility, and selfless service in society. The program reflected SITA Trust’s continued commitment to acknowledging and uplifting those who contribute to the cultural, moral, and literary fabric of the nation.
Following the book release, the National Motherhood-Themed Poetry Conference took place on Sunday, 14 December 2025 at 2:30 PM in the prestigious V.K. Rajwade Auditorium, Pune. The conference began with registration and lunch, followed by a warm welcome address delivered in the esteemed presence of Padma Shri Hon. Uday Deshpande Sir and esteemed cooperative representatives.
The highlight of the event was the poetry conference chaired by renowned poet Hon. F.M. Shinde, whose literary stature brought immense value to the gathering. The session featured heartfelt performances and readings that explored the depths of a mother’s love, sacrifice, and nurturing spirit—all centered around the beloved figure of Aai.
The event was graced by distinguished chief guests, including Smt. Manisha Tai Ladkat (President, BJP Mahila Aghadi, Pune), Dr. Sudhir Tare (Nobel Nominee), Dr. Shreemati Manda Naikde, Smt. Pakhali Bansode, Mrs. Dr. Shailaja Karode, Smt. Priyanka Tai Shende–Shinde, Hon. Shri Suryakant Todkar, Dr. Suresh Rathod, Dr. Neelamber Ganu, and Mrs. Kanchan Veer—each contributing their presence and blessings to the celebration of motherhood.
The event concluded with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and emotional resonance. Through literature, poetry, and recognition of exemplary individuals, the program reaffirmed that “Aai” is not just a word, but a universe of unconditional love, sacrifice, and warmth—where life begins, and compassion resides.
