On International Women’s Day, President Droupadi Murmu greeted the public on Friday and asked everyone to join forces in removing the last obstacles standing in the way of young women and giving them wings.
“Happy Women’s Day to all of you! We should commemorate Nari Shakti on this occasion. “The advancement of a society is gauged by the strides made by its female members,” she stated in an X post.
President Murmu stated that India’s daughters are achieving greatness in every field, including sports and science, and are a credit to their country.
“Let us work together to remove the remaining hurdles from the path of young women, and give them wings, for they will shape tomorrow’s India,” the President said.
