Trade Fair Becomes Accessible for Women, Elderly, and Differently-abled – CSR Research Foundation

In the last 10 years, many unique business and social service programs have been organized at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. At the 43rd International Trade Fair 2024, CSR Research Foundation, in collaboration with Woods Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. and ITPO, has arranged special facilities for women and the elderly. Sanitary napkin vending machines have been installed outside the three women’s toilets of the Mela site, through which free sanitary napkins are being provided to women so that they do not face any inconvenience due to special needs. Along with this, like previously, this year also a rest house has been built at Gate No. 10 of Pragati Maidan for the elderly and disabled people visiting the fair, where free tea, coffee, and 6 (six) e-rickshaws have been arranged for their convenience.

On this occasion, Mr. Deendayal Agarwal, Chairman, CSR Research Foundation said that Woods Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. is also providing full support to our social work. The reason behind our initiative of providing sanitary napkins to women is so that they feel more confident while moving out of their homes, such facilities prove to be very beneficial for women in the fairs organized in Pragati Maidan.

At the same time, our initiative is just a step towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji’s vision – ‘Clean India and Healthy India’. Apart from this, the facility of the rest house is also being provided by the institution in the Mela premises. This arrangement is working to support the physical capabilities of the elderly and disabled people who come to see the fair, and at the same time, they also get emotional support and rest by coming here. This welfare work being run by the organization is getting full support and cooperation from the public. The CSR Research Foundation is committed to serving the public through such unique initiatives in the future as well.
